The HOPE Framework has transformed the way we are able to support children’s growth into healthy, resilient adults.
Join us at the 2026 HOPE Summit to explore the data and stories that show how HOPE creates lasting change and how you can identify and measure what matters most in your own work.
May 19th and 20th | Virtual
Tuesday, 11:00 am – 5:00pm EST
Wednesday, 11:00 am – 5:00pm EST
This year’s Summit centers on measuring what matters and embedding HOPE in ways that lead to lasting change. We will explore how organizations are identifying meaningful indicators of HOPE, tracking progress over time, and aligning their work with the values that drive transformation. Through presentations from HOPE Innovation Network (HIN) members, HOPE Facilitators, and Champions, and more, we will hear how teams are integrating HOPE into daily practice, strengthening systems, and building cultures that sustain impact.
Speakers will share the measures they use to capture growth, connection, resilience, and opportunity, along with the practical strategies that help HOPE take root across programs and organizations. Participants will learn how to move from inspiration to intentional action—defining clear goals, measuring progress in meaningful ways, and using data as a tool for continuous improvement rather than compliance.
Together, we will explore how HOPE moves from framework to lived experience. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies to incorporate HOPE into their own improvement efforts, identify the indicators that matter most in their context, and build momentum for long-term, sustainable change.
If you are new to HOPE, we recommend that summit attendees have an understanding of the HOPE framework prior to the summit.
If you have not yet attended a HOPE workshop or gone through our online modules, we offer free quarterly introduction to HOPE workshops and our free online courses are available.
On Day 2 of the 2026 HOPE Summit, participants are invited to attend optional advanced workshops designed for those ready to deepen their learning and strengthen implementation. These extended sessions will offer focused exploration of three critical areas: Grant Writing, Evaluation, and Creating an Internal Culture of HOPE.
Join us from 10:30–11:00 AM ET on May 19 for a dynamic networking session centered on HOPE. Connect with others, share your experiences, and gain new perspectives in an open, welcoming space. Whether you’re looking to learn, inspire, or simply meet people with similar interests, this is a great opportunity to build meaningful connections!
Networking will also be open throughout the event to connect with other attendees.
This Summit is for all who work in child and family serving sectors from medical practice to community organizations, educators and administrative staff. The HOPE framework is for anyone who is a part of the lives of children and families.

Nadine Burke Harris, MD, MPH, FAAP
Pediatrician and California’s First Surgeon General
Dr. Nadine Burke Harris is an award-winning physician, researcher, and public health leader who has spent her career on the front lines of some of our world’s most pressing public health challenges.
After completing her MPH at Harvard and residency at Stanford, she founded a clinic in one of San Francisco’s most underserved communities, Bayview Hunters Point. It was there that Burke Harris identified ACEs as a major risk factor affecting the health of her patients and applied research from the CDC and Kaiser Permanente to develop a novel clinical screening protocol.
As California’s inaugural Surgeon General, Dr. Burke Harris successfully launched a first-in-the-nation statewide effort that has trained more than 45,000 primary care providers on how to screen for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and respond with trauma-informed care.
Today, she serves as Chief Impact Officer for ACE Resource Network, a national organization advancing a bold vision to make the prevention, early detection and evidence-based treatment of toxic stress a standard part of healthcare practice in the United States.
